To be held at The Frome Showground, West Woodlands, Frome, BA11 5ES
The auction will commence at 10am and consist of Implements, Machinery, Bygones, Deadstock & General Items! The auction will be outside of the show in a neighbouring field so you do not have to pay to come to the auction!
The online catalogue will be available a week before the auction and will be updated daily as details come in. A printed catalogue can be purchased on the day of the auction at the registration desk.
Information for Buyers and Sellers
Before you can bid, you’ll need to be registered. Registration is completely free, and you can do this in person on the morning of the auction at the Registration Desk. Once this is done, you’ll be able to apply for a buyer’s number at each auction. If you become a regular bidder, you’ll be able to get a permanent buyer’s number.
-Buyers Fees: 15% Buyers commission on the hammer which is capped at £500 per lot.
-Sellers Fees: £1.50 per lot for all poultry and deadstock. £0.50 per lot for fresh produce and hatching eggs. £5 per lot for larger items sold exclusively at 12pm. 18% Commission on the hammer which is capped at £500 per lot. (Please note that any sellers with a pay out of more than £300 will not be paid out on the day and will be paid within 3-5 working days after the sale unless previous arrangements have been made with Magpie Auctions.)
All lots are to be in place/penned in by 8.30am on the morning of the auction. Any changes and amendments must be in with us by 6pm on the evening before the auction. Magpie Auctions reserve the right to refuse amendments on the morning.
